We are looking for responsible, professional, reliable, individuals for the position of Non-Emergency driver for a wheelchair accessible van.
Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license
- Experience working directly with patients is preferred
- High school graduate or GED certificate
- Speaks and understand English
Responsibilities
- Ensures that patients are brought to and from hospitals, nursing facilities, and dialysis centers safely and on time
- Performs pre-departure inspection, checks vehicle and equipment, and makes necessary adjustments
- Exhibits professionalism and courtesy at all times
- Reports to dispatch about operational issues and client nonappearance
- Operates different types of wheelchair lifts and securement systems
- Reports any malfunctions, defects, or road hazards
- Performs other work-related duties as required
